Super Bowl Sunday

As we approach Super Bowl Sunday, I am reminded of something we say at Athens Church a lot. "Every Sunday is Super Bowl Sunday" We strive for excellence each Sunday because we hope that each week there is a child who has never been to UpStreet before. We want our guests to feel welcome and to have so much fun that they keep coming back! So, we treat every Sunday like it's the Super Bowl, because for that first time guest, it is.

These last few weeks have been no exception! For the past two Sundays, we have had 200 and 204 children, respectively. While we don't believe that numbers are very important, we strongly believe that growth is. And one thing is for sure, UpStreet is growing! You may know that we had to open up the large group room to almost double its size for the 9.15 service because we were too crowded! What a GREAT problem to have!

Please be in prayer with us that God will continue to grow UpStreet. Pray that children will have so much fun learning who God is and how he wants the to live that they invite their friends on a regular basis. Please thank God for his incredible provision in the Classic Center, where we can move one wall and, boom- the large group room is huge! Also thank him for the new facility! I am SO excited to see the growth that will happen there.

Thank you all for serving faithfully- it's because of your dedication and servants' hearts that these kids feel like they're making connections, and why they keep coming back with smiles on their faces! You all make mornings on UpStreet the Super Bowl Sundays that they are!
