Hey Team,
We are well into the new year and there are already so many great things in store for UpStreet. You all have ben so instrumental in the growth and development of these kids and I am so thankful for that. It is my belief that we have the best job in the world in the fact that we are leading the next generation of adults to put their trust and faith in Jesus.
All month long we are taking a journey aboard the Priceless Pearl in search of buried treasure, and along the way we are teaching the kids how important it is to treasure the things that will last forever!!. This is such an incredible truth for these kids to know and understand!! A truth that I believe will stick with them forever.
You know when we deal with money and finances its so easy to let your expenses and things that you desire supersede the desire you have to give, but I am here to tell you that the Lord delights in a cheerful giver and if we understand that all that we have belongs to God from the get go this process of giving first, saving second, and spending the rest seems easy.
It is my hope that not only these kids understand and apply God's big ideas for their life, but that we as small group leaders and staff members know it too! Thank you all for being incredible leaders. Oh and a HUGE SHOUT OUT to ALL of you for successfully completing one of the most intense small group activities ever. Thanks for making UpStreet a cool place for kids to come and have fun.
