This past Sunday was so great! I was sitting in the back of the room, watching, and I wrote down a few things that I want to share with you all:
The kids were having fun worshipping! They already knew the

Also, the worship leaders know the words! I know it sounds silly, because of course you should know the words, but when you come on Sunday and have already learned the songs at home, it makes such a difference! When leaders know the words, kids will learn them and actually think about what they're singing! Thanks, Juli Ivie and Emily Hoskins, for making worshipping so applicable for kids!
The hosts at both hours were so engaging. Thanks, Matt Curtis and Leigh Prell, for making Peace so much fun to
The storyteller was fantastic. Thanks, Walker, for grabbing kids' attention and sharing such an important message with them in a way that I know they understood and will remember.
I could not have sat in the back and just taken notes and [fuzzy iPhone] pictures if I didn't have a tech team that knows what they're doing! Thanks, Josh Bayne, Brad Scott, and Brian Prell for making all of the fun stuff happen!
It just made my day to see Kindergartners singing and doing the motions, and children hugging each other and making real friends! (I saw two specific instances of this on Sunday)
Thank you, UpStreet Team, for giving your time and energy to invest in these kids. Even if you weren't here this week, I could just as easily write this same message with your names in it. You are all helping to lead them into a growing relationship with Jesus- incredible!
